Coding Children's Vaccines
 

Effective for dates of service on or after June 1, 2010, providers will now be required to include information on all VAFAC supplied vaccine products administered. According to a recently published South Carolina Medicaid Bulletin, dated May 3, 2010, the appropriate vaccination product(s) Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) must be included on the claim when filing for reimbursement for the administration of these vaccines.
