Nurse Help Line

As a First Choice member, you have access to a 24-hour nurse advice help line. The Nurse Help Line is a free service you can call anytime. A registered nurse will listen to your symptoms and help you make a good healthcare decision. The nurse will help you decide if you should call your doctor or go the hospital. The nurse might also give you tips on how you can care for yourself at home. The nurse will even call you back just to see how you are feeling.

The Nurse Help Line does not replace your doctor. Instead, the nurse helps you choose the right kind of care from the right place. In some cases, the nurse may suggest that you call your doctor. If you think you have an emergency, call 911 or local emergency services first.

The Nurse Help Line is fast. And, the faster you call, the faster you can feel better. You can call any time, day or night. So, next time you or a family member is sick, hurt or in need of medical advice give the Nurse Help Line a try. For more information about the Nurse Help Line, call Member Services at 1.888.276.2020.
