Jump-Start Back-to-School 2023

Join First Choice^SM by Select Health for its annual Jump-Start Back-to-School event. First Choice will be holding events at four locations across the state, providing backpacks at no cost for children in grades K through 12, while supplies last. 

The backpacks will be filled with school supplies, and you can also receive additional information about community resources. 

Event locations and dates

• Saturday, July 22 — Spartanburg (PDF) — CC Woodson Community Center, 210 Bomar Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29306 (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
• Saturday, July 29 — Columbia (PDF) — First Choice Community Center, 217 Park Terrace Drive, Columbia, SC 29212 (9 a.m. – noon)
• Saturday, August 5 — North Charleston (PDF)  — Jerry Zucker Middle School, 6401 Dorchester Road, N. Charleston, SC 29418 (9 a.m. – noon)
• Saturday, August 12 — Conway (PDF)  — Conway Elementary School, 1101 Snowhill Drive, Conway, SC 29526 (9 a.m. – noon)
